Registration for the 2025 Winter Season

 

Information for the 2025 Winter season is now available. Please take the time to read through the relevant documents in detail.

Changes for 2025

  • Fundraising has changed for 2025 - Please see page 9

  • Training nights have changed:

    • NSG through to 18&U will be Wednesday evenings

    • 21&U and Open will be Thursday evenings

Existing members

For members who played for Venetians Netball Club during the 2024 Winter season. If you did not play in 2024 but have in the past, please email our club president. Registration will be accepted through PlayHQ. 

 

Open date: 1st January 2025
Close date: 14th January 2025

New member enquiries

For individuals who are interested in joining Venetians Netball Club you will need to read the new member information and fill out the expression of interest by clicking here. Expressions of interests will be open from the 1st December 2024 until the 14th January 2025.

​

Once registrations have closed for existing members (after the 14th January 2025), those who have filled out the expression of interest will be contacted about available positions. If a position is available, new members will be invited to register and attend our grading sessions. All registered players (new and existing) will be placed in a team during the grading sessions. 

​

Please note that Venetians does not "cut" players so if a spot is available it will be offered in order of date of  expression of interest and playing position.

HOW TO REGISTER

ALL registrations and expressions of interests must be processed through PlayHQ. If this is the first time you are using PlayHQ, you will be required to setup a new account. If you need any assistance with registering via PlayHQ please use their support page. Which can be found by clicking the link below.

Option 1: Existing member who DID play Winter in 2024 (training teams only):

Step 1:  Visit playHQ by clicking here.

Step 2: Log in with your participant ID and password.

Step 3: Complete the Registration Form

Step 4: Add any additional items such as the fundraising levy (optional) and then proceed to the checkout.

 

Please note:

  1. Only a portion of fees will be charged at this point. You will be required to fill out a second registration form prior to the commencement of grading which will be emailed to you.

  2. You must register prior to the 14th January 2025.

  3. If you are applying for KidSport, you must do so prior to registering as the voucher code must be entered at the checkout.

  4. If you are finding it hard to meet our financial requirements, please contact our treasurer by emailing treasurer@venetiansnetballclub.com.au prior to the 14th January.

 

Option 2: Non-training teams only

Step 1:  Visit playHQ by clicking here.

Step 2: Log in with your participant ID and password.

Step 3: Complete the Registration Form

 

Please note:

  1. Only a portion of fees will be charged at this point. You will be required to fill out a second registration form in February which will be emailed to you.

  2. You must register prior to the 14th January 2025.

  3. If you are finding it hard to meet our financial requirements, please contact our treasurer by emailing treasurer@venetiansnetballclub.com.au prior to the 14th January.

Option 3: Previous members who DID NOT play Winter in 2024:

Step 1: Email president@venetiansnetballclub.com.au prior to the 14th of January 2025.

 

Option 4: New members who have not previously played for Venetians Netball Club:

Step 1:  Visit playHQ by clicking here.

Step 2: Log in with your participant ID and password.

Step 3: Complete the Expression of Interest Form

 

Please note:

  1. No fee is required to register your expression of interest.

  2. Positions available will depend on the number of returning members and may be limited.

  3. You will be contacted after the 14th January 2025 regarding available positions.

  4. If a position is available, you will be required to register and pay a fee upfront (see page 8) and will be asked to attend grading.

  5. During grading, you will be placed in a team. More information about grading will be sent prior to the first session.
