Training
Training for all teams takes place at Wanneroo Districts Netball Association (WDNA) in the Kingsway Sporting Complex. Players are expected to attend all training sessions throughout the season. If you are unable to attend one or more of your training sessions, you must contact your coach with as much advance notice as possible. All sessions are designed to challenge individuals to learn new skills in an interesting and fun way.
Training is on Wednesday evenings for 1.5 hours commencing at 5pm, 6pm or 7.30pm depending on the coach and age group.
Training attire
Players should be dressed appropriately for training. This includes wearing either the Venetians training singlet, long sleeved top or indigenous warm up shirt. NetSetGO players can wear their NSG T-shirt.
Hair must be tied up, all jewellery should be removed prior to coming down to training and nails should be cut short.
We also suggest that players bring a bag with them and make sure they have a drink bottle, towel and a jumper for cooler weather as well as any necessary medication.
Matches
All Winter games are played at Wanneroo Districts Netball Association on Friday nights (for NetSetGO and 11 & under) and Saturdays (for 12 & under through to open).
Spring games are played on Wednesday nights.
The proposed time slots for Winter 2023 are below. These are subject to number of registrations at WDNA and can change.
Friday Nights
4:30pm - Year 2 & Year 4
5:30pm - Year 3
6:30pm - Year 5, Mixed and 11 & under**
** WDNA are looking to move 11 & under to saturdays but this won't be confirmed until all teams have been submitted.
Saturdays
8.30am - 12 & under
10:00am - 13 & under
11.30am - 15 & under
1.00pm - 18 & under
2.30 & 4.00pm - Open
Location
Training and matches are held at Wanneroo Districts Netball Association (Kingsway Sporting Complex) on courts 28 - 31, 33 - 36, 38 - 41.
